Captain's Log #677: Roars and Biscuits

Hello again, everybody.

It's time again for more belated news, updates, thoughts, and general ramblings. So, let us begin.

Biscuit Man is going to hit the most recent ones starting next week. The series is still starting for the internet meaning that I won't be catching much steam til later. I do enjoy making Biscuit Man. However, it might make my logs even less frequent. My hope is that I can keep the series going especially since I'm still trying to find a job or other some stable source income.

Moving to animation thoughts, The Loud House series has been a television for two weeks. As of this blog, it has to be one of my favorite show on Nick now with Harvey Beaks being in second place. Lincoln as a main character is a great for an insider for his big family. As for my favorite Loud sisters, Luna, Leni, and Lucy are growing on me. I would recommend giving it a watch if you want to watch an animated episodic comedy.

Meanwhile, Powerpuff Girls 2016 is probably the worst thing since Teen Titans Go. I know that's a blunt statement, but I don't like beating around the bush. It's not only a mess of animation and writing. It doesn't even understand the POINT or JOKE of certain characters. Ms. Bellum was the brains behind the Mayor, and they wrote her out of the show for being too hot. Mojo is a meme character. Seriously, memes become memes because they are MEMORABLE not trying to copy old shiggety. The girls themselves are one note flanderizations with Bubbles being a meme character too. I could rant about more things like that twerking scene that every reviewer ran to the Earth's crust. However, that would take all day meaning we're moving to Video Games.

For Pokemon Sun and Moon news, the starters and main legendaries were revealed last week. The starters are Rowlet the grass type owl, Litten the fire type cat, and Popplio the water type sea lion. Out of all the starters, Popplio caught my eye because I feel he could turn into cool but oddly colored beast. Plus, the other two don't appeal to me personally. As for the legendaries, I'm going Team Lion Kings all the way. A sea lion and Liger Zero will be coming in November 18, 2016 (If I can afford the game by then.)

I've been playing the One Piece Burning Blood demo. I really enjoyed the gameplay. Luffy is the easy to learn character. Ace is moderate, but can be mastered once you learn his moveset. Aojiki seems to come off as a cheese character, but only when you know how to use him. Franky was good for showing off the giant transformations, but using him against the other characters was like playing Hard mode. The demo did lift many of my worries. However, I can only truly judge the game once it's officially releases.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was announced today. I hate that I took too long with the Xenoverse thoughts blog because there were many things from that I wanted in the sequel in there. I might just rewrite the thing into XV2 wishlist blog instead. All that I can say is that I doesn't look like a sequel story for my Paramount and the Neo Z-Warriors. So, I might create new characters for this one. I just hope I can transfer my old characters, and they won't hold up any of the created character slots. Or please have give us ten or more created character slot that's all I'm asking for now.
