Captain's Log #386: We Next Gen Now Edition

Hello again, everybody!

Once again, it's time for (belated) news, updates, thoughts, and general ramblings. So, let's begin.

Because I was out of town for the weekend before last, I was able to get my Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Ridonculous Race thought blogs back. Unfortunately, I was too busy too post a link to my new blog. So, I can only hope that people find there way here and know that I'm ok.

Also, I want to ask you readers here for a bit of help. Should I get a Paypal account? I am currently job searching, but my luck with getting a long term job has been low. My major problem with getting a Paypal account is that I've heard too many horror stories involving the site. However, I willing to make one to take donations or sell shirt art and commissions. So, leave a comment on your opinion. I will love to read it.

Moving on, I have now have a Playstation 4 meaning that I might do more current generation game thoughts. I do have J-Stars Victory VS+ and played through the Dynamic Arc. The game is fun to play with all of its new features like the arcade mode. However, It feels dated thanks to the recent events of certain mangas. Even with that, it could be a potential collector's item that I recommend to get the game while it's cheap.

Recently, Pokemon Sun and Moon was revealed. I'm not sure if this is Gen 6.5 or Gen 7, but it does look interesting. I might get Sun version because how I liked Digimon Dawn. I also have a feeling that this game might take place at Hawaii because of the tiki looking item from ORAS. However, I'll have to see more information about the games before jumping to conclusions.

Meanwhile, Sega is having a feedback survey to help them improve. This was definitely needed to help fix Sega with the rollercoaster that they been in for years. I just people be straight about what they want. Here's the link to survey for it: http://sgiz.mobi/s3/b30628954756

In One Piece Burning Blood news, a new Marineford Story trailer was released a few days ago. I personally loved the trailer especially since it possibly confirmed many characters included Blackbeard, Ivankov, and Shanks. There's also the full confirmation of Support Only Characters. I'm okay with this because most of them aren't real fighters. However, the down playing of Bepo did sting. With the reveal of Carue as a support, we might have Vivi playable, but I might be me stretching my expectations.

As for #Gamergate news, TorrentialDownpour, an operation made to warn people about Fire Emblem Fates mess of a localization, has been a success for the most part. The opposition and usual posers are trying to turn it to an unsuccessful boycott or an attack on Ms. Rapp who gave info about the localization. Meanwhile, either hired shills or blind fanboys are defending the bad localization. So, be careful who you talk to about the situation. There's also work on one for Bravely Second. So, I'll try report the result of that in the next log.
