Captain's Log #2016: Jisk Of Things 2 Come

Hello again, ladies and gents.

It's time for (belated) news, updates, thoughts, and general ramblings. So, let us begin with me going way off script.

After reading this, you can see that I'm planning to stick to my Wysp account and this site for now on. I wish could tell my DA watchers about this, but the lock on my account makes that impossible.

Before I move on to news and thoughts, I want to talk about my future with Total Drama stuff. I think the lockout and the time that I've gained to think was a sign that I shouldn't give the series that much attention anymore. My main reason is because this show was never my type of show to begin with especially since REAL reality shows bore me. Not to mention, there is selective continutity everywhere, the use of the characters range from questionable to bad, and the loose ends that never get resolved are rampant. Meanwhile, World Tour was a pandering/middle fingering mess that cemented the series decline more than fixed it. Sure, I do like Revenge of the Island and Ridonculous Race. However, it doesn't make up for most of the series' big mistakes including the ones in the seasons that I like. Heck, I was going to work on a Total Drama Nerdcore comic however I would have do my version of All Stars as well to set things up without making Nerdore into World Tour 2.0. So, some art will be made, but major focus like I gave it is not happening anymore. I'm sorry.

Holy smoly, these last chapters about Sanji's real family and the marriage thing has been insanely good. I do predict that the crew will split again to deal with both Big Mom and Kaido with Luffy and Zoro leading the respective teams. We just have wait and see.

While we are on the subject of One Piece, there was a large amount of One Piece Burning Blood info that was revealed while I was gone. Nami, Nico Robin, Boa Hancock, and Perona were confirmed for playable a few weeks ago. In my opinion, I'm glad because the roster was becoming a sausage fest, but I did have a strong feeling Nami and Robin were obviously going to be in. My only problem with the females revealed are where is Vivi and Tashigi. If we're going by popularity, they probably should've been in this too, but it's more a nitpick than anything.

Then, we have the reveal of a Marineford Story Mode that also confirmed Whitebeard, Jimbei, Akainu, Kizaru, Marco, Kuma, and Freakin' Jozu (This carpool tho!). I'm really liking this roster so far. With AngryStormGamer's inside info and the roster getting amazing for 50+ characters, I really hope turn lives up to what we know so far. I really wish we gotten a duo audio option for this game. It's showing strong potential.

Meanwhile, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (Dat Name) is about to release in a few days. I don't much to say about the game than what others have said. I have no strong opinions until I get to play the game myself. Since, I'm unemployed the time of this blog (since early December). That might be awhile.

As for #GamerGate, I'll have to play catch up with everything since I've busy working on the site. However, I'll tell you that it's still going on, but on watchdog mode again.

To wrap up, it's seems like every year something game changing happens. I wish one of those things was a long term job to pay for expenses, but I digress. If I have more things to talk about, I'll save them for later. Because, I believe this blog is getting long as is. So, I'll see guys later. Peace.
