Yeah, it has been one surprise after another this week. Including the news that Naruto Shippuden will appearing on Toonami in January 2014. I did NOT see that coming since Disney seemed to had the series locked in the Disney vault, never to be seen again. So, yeah! I excited about this! In addition, a show named Space Dandy (made by the people who made Cowboy Bebop) is also set to appear around that time as well, but it will be a worldwide premiere. I'm excited for this as well. Oh, yeah. Saw the other episode of Steven Universe. I loved it. Steven's dad will definitely be one of my faves of the show. Anyway without further ado... -------------Spoiler Filled Zone-------------
Time for another thoughts thing for the most recent episode of TDAS. It was okay, I guess. Things that I liked: Mal being as cold as winter. "I'm like Lightning now! SHA.... WHATEVER!!" Poor Cam, but I will talk more about Cameron later. Fat intern is THE best intern. Chef, that is all. Finally, the CamGwen friendship focused on again! Scott being hilarious. Scottney became official until [See things I didn’t like] Zoey and Gwen being awesome. Zeke’s resolve. No, seriously. I felt Zeke here. Thanks, Chris, for rubbing in how terrible that you’ve been to this guy because I felt his rage with every word you said. Things that I didn't like: [See things I liked] it falls apart in 2 hours. Oh, Alejandro’s still here to stay. Great. Now, remember when I said was gonna talk about Cameron later. I gonna say this: Nerds can't really win in this series in my opinion. Mainly, Harold, Sam, and Cameron (Cameron's case is a different reason).
Harold was one of greatest competitors in his run in the show minus Season 3 where he rocked the aftermaths. He never won a season.
Sam who is possible one of the funniest characters on the show and was brought back in All-Stars which he could of surpassed his first run. He ranks lower than he did in Season 4.
I just feel like these were kind of downer endings for these guys as characters and competitors which left me with no closure with some of them. This could be me viewing this show as a writer than a viewer. Yet, I just can't shake off the feeling of lacking satisfaction. Sure, we might get 5 more seasons after this, but I can't shake that other feeling that these guys might never comeback again. You know what. Enough negativity. I suppose to bring positivity. However, like I always say. Don't take my word for it. Go see it yourself. ---------End of Spoiler Filled Zone---------- Before I close, pray for JoeMerl's family friend who is suffering from Leukemia. It would be very appreciated. Well, I'm about to go watch Korra. So, again my friends. See you next week.
