Captain's Log #2127: Resurrection 'H'

Hello again, ladies and gents. It's time for (belated) news, updates, thoughts, and general ramblings. So, let us begin with my penultimate return. For projects, my original plan was to do a big art dump to celebrate getting my new graphics drawing tablet. However, my internship and personal stuff delayed a few pieces that I'm working on. Meaning, I will just upload a few pieces at the usual pace. I'm still working on my thoughts blogs as well. So, keep eye out for these. Last Sunday, I went to see The Peanuts Movie. In my opinion, this has been one of the best movie adaptions in years. It was a modern, but stayed faithful to the cartoons and comic strips. One big thing that made the movie even greater was the nonexistence of pop references. Kids movies or adaptions in general need stop stuffing pop culture references into everything because it only dates the movies. In this category of movies, the Peanuts movie will definitely hold up for years to come. And I truly recommend seeing this movie. To start with games, Bandai Namco had revealed that Naruto Storm 4 will have three DLC packs and a street pass. The DLC sounds neat, but I will wait to see what they actually contain. Otherwise, I don't personally care. The other news involving Storm 4 was screenshots of Naruto's New Ultimate, Kaguya's Awakening form, PS4 demo in the works, and some country exclusive costumes. I don't have much of an opinion on these, because I'm ready to see more gameplay. Plus, I still don't have any current gen home consoles yet. On to other news, Franky, X-Drake, and Zoro? are confirmed for One Piece Burning Blood. I'm glad that Franky and possibly Zoro are in the game. However, X-Drake is huge surprise since the character hasn't even been in Pirate Warriors yet. He must have carpooled with Bartolomeo when Spike Chunsoft was picking characters. Jokes aside, this could turn out to be one of the best rosters for an One Piece game if things keep up. Edit 11/21/15 at 11:27 am: Kuzan was confirmed as well along with official confirmation for Zoro! After doing some looking at my intership, I found a day one copy of One Piece Unlimited World Red for the 3DS. I have not finished the game yet. I am so far enjoying its gameplay. On to #GamerGate news, a second Airplay is in the works that will be handled by GJN. Society of Professional Journalists, who hosted the first Airplay, are working on a game journalism awards called Kunkel. Eventhough they added Polygon and Kotaku who don't deserve jack shiggity, the potential of both publications getting mad for not winning anything makes me happy. Speaking of those clown sites, apparently some of game developing companies blacklisted them now with some devs coming out to tear them a new one. Crazy stuff. To conclude, I'm back and things are once again looking up for the most part. Also, I'm very late on this, and apologize for not speaking of this sooner. To Zamii070, I heard about you having a run-in with Social Justice Warriors. I hope you get well soon, and don't ever let the words of people get to you like that. I know there are people who will have your back because they've been through the same thing. Now that I've said my piece, I'll start preparing myself for work.
