Captain's Log #9 3/4: The Train Keeps Rollin'
Original Posted: Jul 21, 2015
Hello again, everybody. It's time for again for (belated) news, updates, thoughts, and general ramblings. So, let us begin. I'm currently asking to get one of my original series into my local newspaper as a comic strip. I won't reveal the series or newspaper until I sure it will be added to the paper. Otherwise, keep in eye out as usual for anything new. Meanwhile, TD Halloween 2 sixth part is in the works, and will be uploaded sometime in August. However, I'm planning to finish the final parts during the fall. After they're finished, I'll upload hopefully all of them during certain points in October. The Dragon Ball Xenoverse Thoughts entry is still in the works. I'm writing about the gameplay. Since I don't want to make any mistakes or miss anything, I'm going to try to proofread more to make sure this will be almost flawless. On my thoughts of Dragon Ball Super, I personally like the manga more than the anime. Why? I've already watched the Battle of Gods movie. Besides a few changes, I rather get to the new things than see stuff that I've already seen or read about. While the manga is getting to major points, the anime is showing me stuff that I both don't care or think shouldn't be taking too much focus. If I come off as entitled, I apologize, but I rather have a series with new material than half a series with old material with new things sprinkled in. However, that's just my opinion. To wrap up the Dragon Ball talk, I've watched the Goku vs Superman 2, and I enjoyed the fight for the most. However, there was one thing that I disagreement was the Superman's power is limitless argument. I see it as unmeasurable which is the point. Superman is a character made as something for people to strive towards. At the same time, Clark is learning about his strengths and weakness along with us. He doesn't know his own strength, and has tendencies of holding back his own potential out of fear. <strike>To be honest, I have these tendencies as well.</strike> If anything, I blame the writers for making Superman's feats have something to do with fixing the impossible. At some point, the comic book writers just started using Superman as a plot device especially when he's teamed up with other heroes. My point is that I grew up with Superman first. However, it won't make me choose a side between him and Goku because both had some hand in molding me into who I am today. No matter who won, I would still be happy for them. Besides, we all know how something like this would actually gone anyway. To finish things with #GamerGate again, I will be posting the current happenings page again for any new events. However, the reason that I'm bring up GG today because some people are/were getting paranoid (or baited into thinking) that AirPlay is a trap. Thanks to Koretzky updates and attitude, the fear was still be fed (and used against us by the opposition). In my opinion, I believe it will go like this. The online media has been treating Pro-GG like monsters for almost a year now, and that didn't did stop us. Even when a bomb threat in Washington, DC happened, ProGG still meeting up with each other around the world as we speak. If Airplay is a trap, they better bring stronger ammo and reality warping powers because we have facts against accusations and smears.
Meaning, they can derail and change the rules all they want! This train is coming to town!
Now, excuse me while I wait for the Tokiwa Kitareri and Sekirei translations. Have nice day, folks. Most Recent Works:
