Hello again, everybody. I have feeling that people want my opinion on the leaked Ridonculous Race episode and the Dragon Ball Super info. Since both opinions are quite short, I’ll put them all in one blog post. Without further ado, let’s begin. Ridonculous Race: To get it out of the way, I know about Leonard being one of the returnees. I’m okay with this as long as we get some character development from him before his inevitable elimination. It was something that I said I wanted to see if he appeared again. Sure, I miss Harold and a few others. Compared to most, I’m optimistic that Leonard might be interesting this season. As for the rest of the cast, I’ll just wait and see. I don’t want to get my hopes up, and get burned again. I just hope this season does not disappoint. Dragon Ball Super: The animation from the teaser looks good for the most part. I however have a few issues. Cue the music! First off, why do Trunks and Goten still look seven when they should at least be the height of Gohan at the Cell Games? Saiyan cells are not an excuse because they’re hybrids as well as Gohan and Future Trunks aged almost normally. Second, why does the first new god that we see in the new poster looks like a fat Beerus? I guess this either going to lead to the reveal of Beerus having a family that are Gods of Destruction for multiple universes. Or we might deal with multiple timeline shenanigans, and this is an actual fat Beerus with a Waifu Whis instead of the “Whis” Whis. Which, I feel would be a copout. Third and final thing, I cannot see how this takes place after Resurrection “F”. Besides the Trunks and Goten won’t grow an inch thing, Goku can still turn regular Super Saiyan. Either Goku can turn God Ki on and off at will or it has to take place between Battle of Gods and Resurrection “F”. Otherwise… something’s WAY off here. *music ends* These could be answered as the series starts, but there are too many things this teaser and poster introduce that raises more questions. And I really need answers here. We’ll just have to wait for July to see. I still think the Fusion kids still looking seven is dumb though. That about wraps it up. Therefore, I hope we meet again in an actual Captain’s Log next time. Peace.
