Captain's Log #424: Culture Wreck

Hello again, everybody. First off, I would like to apologize that I haven't been uploading like usual, but I am going explain why in the next few paragraphs. Anyway, It's time again for some belated news, updates, and other ramblings. Without any further ado, let's begin. The first reason for my absence was waiting to work on a planned commission for two weekends. Unfortantely, the person didn't showed up for either meetings. As well, I haven't been able to contact that person since. At this point, I'm going to be wary of my clients unless I have reliable way to contact them. I'm working on a way for people to contact me about pieces, but it might be awhile until I can post it. (If you haven't read my last few blogs, you might know why.) The second reason: I finally got Dragon Ball Xenoverse for the PS3 after my family and I teamed up to buy it. It was a first day edition meaning that I did get SS4 Vegeta (I STILL THINK HE SHOULDN'T BE DAY 1!!). I will do a thoughts blog about it when I finally get the DLC packs as well as some art about my characters. So, keep an eye out. I also hope to see you guys online. The final reason was #GamerGate. I doing the usual emailing and spreading info about corrupted jerks. This was the one which took the least time because of my style of emails. Meanwhile, things seems to be picking up again for ProGG thanks to detractors who are trying to stay relevant to scam people. This means that things won't end for awhile. If you want info on #GamerGate events go to: gitgud.net/gamergate/gamergate… As for news, the Boruto (or Bolt) movie teaser was released. From the info that we've been getting lately, this movie might be quite interesting. Especially, the possibility that Boruto could be training under Sasuke. However, we'll just have wait for more info to know if this could be true. Also, Naruto Storm 4 has a demo out now on the PSN and Xbox Live. Also, the Batman vs Superman and Ant-man trailers came out the other day. From the BvS teaser, I feeling this is going to be a Batman focused movie. I hope we get to see more of Superman in this because he's my favorite out of the two. As for Ant-man, it looks interesting. Let's just hope that both movies live up to the trailers. To wrap things up, a lot things have come up lately like the Honey Badgers being kicked out of Calgary Expo for having an opinion, GG having meetups which starting to become a trend that needs to end, and Steam going full Herpa Durp with taking 75% of modder earnings. My thought on these are this. The Honey Badgers can easy sue for this for illegal banning (and are working on it as of this post). The Texas and DC meet ups need to be the last ones for a long while. I can see these going horribly wrong when the wrong people get involved. As for the Steam thing, I wish more people would send complaints to Steam and NINTENDO about things like this. They really need a wake up call about this kind of money grubbing, and how it could cause friction between them and their fans. I believe that's it for today, and I hope to see everyone again soon. Now, excuse me while I go fanboy over the Big Three's new reveals. Bounce Man, son!
